I have a question for all my friends who read my blog.
Today is Monday, November 17th . . . how do you refer to Thursday, November 20th?
As "THIS" Thursday or as "NEXT" Thursday.
Now this is not anything earth-shattering or critical, but it's just a little dig that I have on an occasional basis with Chuck. So I am curious for your answers.
I'll let you know who says which phrase in a few days. Thanks!

This is so funny because Dave and I JUST argued about this last night!
I would refer to the Thursday the 20th as THIS Thursday because it is in THIS week.
Thursday the 27th, or Thanksgiving is NEXT Thursday because it's in NEXT week, not THIS week.
But Dave insists next Thursday would be the 20th because it comes next.
I think he's full of crap. Because then how do you use THIS Thursday?
This thursday.... next thursday is thanksgiving!
I agree. This thursday is this one, next thursday is Thanksgiving!
Monday through Wednesday = THIS Thursday :)
Monday through Wednesday = NEXT Week-end
Wednesday evening through Sunday = THIS Week-end
Next for me is in the next "zone" of proximity and this in in my current "zone" of proximity (EG : Monday through Friday is THIS week)
